Description
The winged figure has been found carved into rock faces from Japan to Utah to Azerbaijan — etched by people who never met, never shared a language, and had no way of knowing the other existed. They drew the same thing.
Carved by the Fremont people in 9 Mile Canyon, Utah between 700 and 1200 CE. One of the highest concentrations of rock art anywhere in the world.
Part 2 of 3 in the Petroglyph Series.
